PENGARUH KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DAN KECERDASAN SPIRITUAL TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN PADA LBPP-LIA PALEMBANG

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the emotional intelligence (EQ) and spiritual intelligence (SQ) on employee performance in LBPP-LIA Palembang. This research is also to know the dominant variables that is more influential on the performance of employees. This study design is causal research which is investigates the relationship between the variables, which independent variables is emotional intelligence (X₁) and spiritual intelligence (X₂), and Employee performance (Y) as dependent variable. Data used are primary data, by using questionnaire that consists of 48 items of question. Sampling technique used is census technique, so the 80 employees are also the respondents. The analysis technique is multiple regression. The results show that emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant impact on employee performance. The results also indicate that spiritual intelligence is more influential on the performance of employees in relation to emotional intelligence.
