Abstract


Abstract: Application Of Lead Type Cooperative Learning Model (Student Teams Achievement Division) To Increase Understanding Chemical Concept Student Class XI IPA 3 SMA Srijaya Palembang. This classroom action research aims to improve students' understanding of chemical concepts through the application of Cooperative Learning Model STAD (Student Teams Achievement Division) in class XI IPA 3 SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang on acid-base material. Research carried out in three cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. Application of Model Student Teams Achievement Division in class XI IPA 3 SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang can improve students understanding of chemical concepts. Improved understanding of the concept of students can be seen from the increasing value of gain of the first cycle of 0,369 into 0,506 second cycle and the third cycle increased to 0,719. From these results we concluded that the Model Student Teams Achievement Division can improve students understanding of chemical concepts.
