Analisis ketersediaan asupan zat besi terhadap kadar hemoglobin pada atlet bela diri

Abstract


Olahraga performance membutuhkan penanganan khusus. Tidak hanya program latihan yang terstruktur dan dijalankan dengan baik tetapi juga asupan makanan. Tersedianya asupan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan setiap atlet yang dibutuhkan Asupan zat besi erat kaitannya dengan kadar hemoglobin. Atlet membutuhkan kadar hemoglobin yang tinggi untuk memiliki pemulihan yang cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh asupan zat besi (Fe) terhadap kadar hemoglobin pada atlet pencak silat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei dengan 9 sampel atlet pencak silat yang mengikuti TC PON 2021. Variabel penelitian adalah asupan protein dan zat besi yang diukur menggunakan recall 24 jam selama 7 hari, dan pemeriksaan kadar hemoglobin menggunakan easy touch. Analisis data yaitu univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara asupan zat besi (p = 0,285 dan r = 0,472) terhadap kadar Hb pada atlet pencak silat PON XX di Papua. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa zat besi tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kadar Hb yaitu dengan peningkatan zat besi maka kadar Hb pada atlet pencak silat tidak akan meningkat.
