Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation(GI) dalam Pembelajaran Biologi terhadap Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) siswa di salah satu SMA Negeri di kota Palembang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah non-equivalent control group design dengan jumlah sampel 84 siswa kelas X yang terdiri dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Materi pembelajaran yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pencemaran lingkungan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes KPS tipe pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran GI berpengaruh signifikan terhadap KPS siswa. Peningkatan KPS pada aspek mengamati, mengajukan pertanyaan dan berhipotesis termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, sedangkan KPS pada aspek menafsirkan pengamatan tergolong dalam kategori rendah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of cooperative learning model Group Investigation (GI) in the Biology Learning Science Process Skills (SPS) students at SMAN 14 of Palembang. The study design used was a non-equivalent control group design with a sample of 84 students of class X consisting of experimental class and control class. Learning materials used in this study is environmental pollution. Data collection techniques in this study is a multiple-choice type of test SPS. The results showed that the learning model of GI significantly effect on students. The increase in SPS in the aspect observe, ask questions and hypothesize included in the high category, while the SPS in interpreting aspects of the observations fall into the category of low.
