MEDIA GENIUS TURTLE CARD TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK KELAS V SUBTEMA KOMPONEN EKOSISTEM SD NEGERI 05 INDRALAYA

Abstract


AbstractThis study aimed to determine the effect of Genius Turtle Card media on student learning outcomes of fifth grade in the sub-theme of ecosystem component at SD Negeri 05 Indralaya. This type of research was quasi-experimental with the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SD Negeri 05 Indralaya. The sample in this study was a whole VA class with 21 students including 9 boys and 11 girls. The data collection technique that researcher used was a test of learning outcomes. The results of statistical test prove that there were differences in the average pretest value (59,836) and the average posttest value (77,459). Based on the results of the paired t-test there was a t count = 11.808 while t table =2.086 with a significant level of 0.05 (5%). Because tcount >t table (11.808>2.086) then Ho is rejected. So that it can be concluded that the use of Genius Turtle Card media has a significant effect (P=0.001) on student learning outcomes of fifth grade in the sub-theme of ecosystem component at SD Negeri 05 Indralaya. Therefore, the Genius Turtle Card media can be used as an alternative media to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Genius Turtle Card terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V subtema komponen ekosistem SD Negeri 05 Indralaya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen) dengan rancangan penelitian One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri 05 Indralaya. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VA yang memiliki jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 21 orang diantaranya 9 laki-laki dan 12 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes hasil belajar. Hasil uji statistik membuktikan bahwa terdapat perbedaan rata-rata nilai Pretest (59,836) dan rata-rata nilai Posttest (77,459). Berdasarkan hasil uji paired t-test didapatlah thitung= 11,808 sedangkan ttabel= 2,086 dengan taraf signifikan 0,05 (5%). Karena thitung>ttabel (11,808 > 2,086) maka Ho ditolak. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Genius Turtle Card berpengaruh signifikan (P=0.001) terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas V subtema komponen ekosistem SD Negeri 05 Indralaya. Oleh karena itu, media Genius Turtle Card ini dapat dijadikan sebagai media alternatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.
