    Peran Perpustakaan dalam Pemberdayaan Perempuan melalui Kegiatan Pelibatan Masyarakat di Perpustakaan Umum Kabupaten Malang

    Abstract


    Perpustakaan memiliki peranan penting dalam mewujudkan pembangunan nasional, termasuk pemberdayaan perempuan. Perpustakaan Umum Kabupaten Malang tidak hanya berperan sebagai sumber informasi saja, melainkan juga sebagai learning center bagi masyarakat. Perpustakaan Umum Kabupaten Malang memfasilitasi kegiatan pelibatan masyarakat dan berperan sebagai libraries as a space for community, partnership working, involvement volunteer, dan community involvement in decision making untuk mendorong perempuan lebih berdaya dalam sektor ekonomi. Melalui peranan tersebut, anggota komunitas merajut di Perpustakaan Umum Kabupaten Malang yang umumnya hanya IRT mampu mendapatkan penghasilan tambahan melalui penjualan hasil karyanya
