ANALISIS PUSAT PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI PADA TINGKAT KECAMATAN DI KABUPATEN EMPAT LAWANG SUMATERA SELATAN

Abstract

This research took a title the analysis of center of economic growth at municipal level in Empat Lawang Regency. The aims of this research were to identify which municipals have the category as the center of economic growth, to find out the interaction among the municipals as the center of economic growth with its hinterland, and also to find out the specialization of the eminent product of each municipals by seeing the eminent commodity. The approaches used were the Scalogram analysis to identify the center of economic growth, interaction/Gravity analysis to indentify the hinterlands, and Location Quotien analysis to find out the specialization of each municipals. This reseach used secondary data, comprising of economic facilities, social, and govermental facilities, the number of citizen between the municipal and GRDP in each municipal in Empat Lawang Regency. The result of this research was that the municipals that can act as the center of economic growth were Tebing Tinggi, Pendopo, and Ulu Musi, which had hinterland, Tebing Tinggi Municipal with the hinterland of Talang Padang; Pendopo Municipal had hinterland of Muara Pinang and Lintang Kanan; Ulu Musi Municipal had hinterland of Pasemah Air Keruh.
