PENGARUH STADIUM KANKER PAYUDARA TERHADAP DERAJAT NYERI DAN KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN KANKER PAYUDARA DI RSU. HAJI MEDAN

Kanker payudara terjadi karena pertumbuhan sel-sel payudara yang tidak dapat terkendali. Salah satu gejala klinis pada pasien kanker adalah rasa nyeri yang dapat mempengaruhi sekitar 66% pada penderita kanker. Rasa nyeri tersebut dapat terjadi akibat infiltrasi tumor itu sendiri ataupun efek dari pengobatan kemoterapi dan radioterapi. Rasa nyeri juga dapat meningkat ketika kanker payudara berkembang ke stadium yang lebih tinggi. Rasa nyeri tersebut dapat mengganggu aktivitas fisik, menghambat kegiatan sehari-hari, mengganggu kebiasaan tidur dan makan. Hal tersebut dapat menurunkan kualitas hidup seseorang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penngaruh stadium kanker terhadap derajat nyeri dan kualitas hidup pasien kanker payudara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian adalah seluruh pasien yang telah didiagnosis kanker payudara. Pengukuran derajat nyeri menggunakan kuesioner Brief Pain Inventory Short Form(BPI-SF) dan pengukuran kualitas hidup menggunakan kuesioner European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life (EORTC QLQ - C30). Dari 50 responden didapati rata-rata usia 37 tahun dan telah berada di stadium lanjut. Hasil dari uji fisher exact didapati pengaruh stadium kanker dengan derajat nyeri (p <0,05) dan juga didapati hasil stadium kanker dengan kualitas hidup ( p <0,05). Terdapat pengaruh stadium kanker terhadap derajat nyeri dan kualitas hidup pasien kanker payudara

ABSTRACT

The Effect Of Breast Cancer Stadium On Pain Degree And Quality Of Life Of Breast Cancer Patients In RSU Haji Medan. Breast cancer occurs due to uncontrolled growth of breast cells. One of the clinical symptoms in cancer patients is pain which can affect around 66% of cancer patients. This pain can occur due to tumor infiltration itself or the effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatment. Pain can also increase when breast cancer progresses to a higher stage. This pain can interfere with physical activity, hinder daily activities, interfere with sleeping and eating habits. This can reduce a person's quality of life. This study aims to determine the effect of cancer stage on the degree of pain and quality of life of breast cancer patients. This type of research is analytic with a cross-sectional design. The sample in this study were all patients who had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Measuring the degree of pain used the Brief Pain Inventory Short Form (BPI-SF) questionnaire and measuring the quality of life used the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life questionnaire (EORTC QLQ - C30). Of the 50 respondents, it was found that the average age was 37 years and was in an advanced stage. The results of the Fisher's exact test found the effect of cancer stage on the degree of pain (p <0.05) and found the results of cancer stage with quality of life (p <0.05). There is an effect of cancer stage on the degree of pain and quality of life of breast cancer patients.
