PENGARUH HIPERTENSI TERHADAP GANGGUAN FUNGSI KOGNITIF PADA LANSIA: SYSTEMATIC REVIEW

Hipertensi dapat terjadi pada semua usia dan jenis kelamin yang berdampak terjadinya berbagai komplikasi, termasuk gangguan kognitif. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh hipertensi terhadap gangguan fungsi kognitif, khususnya pada populasi lanjut usia. Studi ini dibuat menyesuaikan PRISMA melalui database PubMed, Science Direct, Europe PMC, Willey Online Library, Sage Journal, dan DOAJ dengan pemfokusan pada hipertensi dan fungsi kognitif pada lansia. Terpilih lima studi terpilih dengan partisipan berjumlah 16.435. Hasil observasi berupa adanya pengaruh hipertensi terhadap gangguan fungsi kognitif pada lansia, terutama pada domain memori dan kecepatan pemrosesan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tingginya tekanan darah, baik sistolik maupun diastolik, berpengaruh terhadap gangguan fungsi kognitif.

Abstract

Hypertension can occur to every age and gender, can be complicated to vary diseases, including cognitive impairment. This study aims to determine the effects of hypertension to cognitive impairment in Elder. This study was adjusted by PRISMA through PubMed, Sciece Direct, Europe PMC, Willey Online Library, Sage Journal, and DOAJ databases with highlighted to hypertension and cognitive function in elder. Five studies were selected with 16.435 participants. The results showed that hypertension affect the cognitve function in elder, especially in domain of memory and processing speed. In the conclusion, high blood pressure, either systolic and diastolic, affects cognitive impairment
