    Abstract


    The aim this research is to analyze number of independent labor hour allocation in palm oil plantation and rubber farming, to analyze the effect of independent labor hour allocation in palm oil plantation factors, to account the independent labor earnings in palm oil plantation and in their rubber farming, and to account their earnings to Minimum Live Cost. This research has done in Bandar Agung Village, Lubuk Batang Subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ulu District, Province of Sout Sumatera. The time of this researh was in April until May 2009.  This research was used Survey Reasearch Method and Simple Random Sampling Method. Number of sample in PTP.Mitra Ogan were 30 responders. The results of this research were independent labour hour alocation  in PT Mitra Ogan palm oil plantation  was 136.67 hours per mounth. This was higher than and rubber farming hour alocation was  35.53 hours per mounth. Simoultaneously, independent labour hour alocation  in PTP. Mitra Ogan palm oil plantation was influenced siginificanly by old of the labour, number of family,  work labour experience, and level of the labour education. Kontribution of labour earning in PTP. Mitra Ogan Palm Oil was 26.35 percent, and from rubber farming was 19.09 percent. Kontribution of labour earning in PTP. Mitra Ogan palm Oil was higher than their  minimum living cost.
