Author Guidelines
INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS OF BHINEKA TUNGGAL IKA
1. The journal Bhinneka Tunggal Ika contains articles about the results of thoughts and research results in the field of Civics learning. The submitted article has never been published in other mass media (print or online), typed using Microsoft Word program, Times New Roman font, size 11 pts, with 1.15 spacing, on one face of A4 paper. Maximum article length is 15 pages, file submission to the journal web page at http://ejournal.unsri.ac.id/index.php/jbti.
2. The name of the author of the article written without an academic degree is placed under the title of the article accompanied by the name of the institution and e-mail address to facilitate communication. In the case of articles written by the team, the editor only deals with the author whose name is listed first. The writing team consists of a maximum of 6 authors.
3. The article is written in Indonesian or English in an essay format. The title of the article is printed in capital letters. Each section of the article, except for the introduction, is titled with letters according to its rank without using numbers/numbers.
4. Systematics of writing the article as the result of thought: title - author's name (without academic degree) - name of institution, and e-mail address - abstract (maximum 100 words) - key words (maximum five words) - introduction (without title) contains the background and purpose or scope of the writing - the main discussion (can be divided into several sub-sections) - the conclusion contains conclusions and suggestions - a reference list of at least 70% published in the last 10 years and contains only the sources referred to.
5. Systematics of research results articles: title - author's name (without academic degree), name of institution, and e-mail address - abstract containing background, objectives, methods, and results (maximum 100 words) - key words (maximum 100 words) five words) - introduction (without title) contains background, a little literature review, and research objectives - methods - results - discussion - closing contains conclusions and suggestions - a reference list of at least 70% published in the last 10 years and only contains sources that are referenced .
6. Reference sources as far as possible are primary sources, such as research reports (including theses, theses, dissertations), or research articles in scientific journals or periodicals. The inclusion of reference sources in direct or indirect quotations uses the bracketing technique, for example: (Davis, 2003:27).
7. The list of references is sorted alphabetically and arranged systematically as in the following example.

8. Procedures for presenting quotations, references, tables, by following the provisions in the Journal Writing Guidelines or by referring directly to the procedures used in articles that have been published.
9. All manuscripts are reviewed anonymously by reviewers appointed by the editor according to their field of expertise. Article writers are given the opportunity to make improvements to the manuscript based on recommendations/suggestions from reviewers or editors with a maximum period of 2 months. If you pass this provision, the manuscript will be returned to the author and must go through the resubmit process. Confirmation of acceptance or rejection of the manuscript will be notified through OJS .
10. Checking and editing of print is done by the editor and/or by involving the writer. Articles already in print can be unpublished by the editor if they are found to have problems.
11. Everything related to licensing of citations or the use of computer software for the manufacture of manuscripts or other matters related to intellectual property rights carried out by the author of the article, along with the legal consequences arising from it, are the responsibility of the author of the article.

If the article was jointly prepared by more than one author, any authors submitting the manuscript warrants that he/she has been authorized by all co-authors to be agreed on this copyright and license notice (agreement) on their behalf, and agrees to inform his/her co-authors of the terms of this policy. Bhineka Tunggal Ika: Kajian Teori & Praktik Pendidikan PKn will not be held liable for anything that may arise due to the author(s) internal dispute. Bhineka Tunggal Ika: Kajian Teori & Praktik Pendidikan PKn will only communicate with the corresponding author.
5. Miscellaneous
Bhineka Tunggal Ika: Kajian Teori & Praktik Pendidikan PKn will publish the article (or have it published) in the journal if the article’s editorial process is successfully completed. Bhineka Tunggal Ika: Kajian Teori & Praktik Pendidikan PKn editors may modify the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization, referencing and usage that deems appropriate. The author acknowledges that the article may be published so that it will be publicly accessible and such access will be free of charge for the readers as mentioned in point 3.
Every accepted manuscript should be accompanied by "Copyright Transfer Agreement" prior to the article publication.
