PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE NUMBERED HEAD TOGETHER (NHT) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR MATERI KIMIA SISWA KELAS XI IPA 3 SMA SRIJAYA NEGARA PALEMBANG

Abstract
Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT) Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Materi Kimia Siswa Kelas XI IPA 3 SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kimia siswa kelas XI IPA 3 di SMA Srijaya Negara Palembang melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi untuk mengetahui keaktifan siswa dan tes akhir siklus untuk mengetahui hasil belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam 3 siklus. Peningkatan hasil belajar dapat dilihat dari ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa yang meningkat dari 25,9% sebelum tindakan (T0) menjadi 40,8% pada siklus I (T1), pada siklus I hasil belajar tergolong rendah, hal ini dikarenakan terdapat kekurangan pada sintaks pemberian tugas, melakukan diskusi dan mempresentasikan jawaban, kekurangan tersebut diperbaiki pada siklus II. Kemudian meningkat menjadi 66,7% pada siklus II (T2) hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari siklus I tetapi belum mencapai ketuntasan klasikal, hal tersebut disebabkan masih terdapat kelemahan pada saat melakukan diskusi siswa masih kurang percaya diri untuk menyampaikan pendapat, kelemahan tersebut diperbaiki pada siklus III dan meningkat menjadi 88,9% pada siklus III (T3). Rata-rata keaktifan siswa dalam kelompok pada siklus I 55% menjadi 71,4% pada siklus II dan 82,2% pada siklus III. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adannya peningkatan hasil belajar dan aktifitas siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Numbered Head Together (NHT).
