Majalah Kedokteran Sriwijaya (MKS) has been published by the Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sriwijaya since 1962.
MKS regularly published 4 times in a year with ISSN (PRINT): 0852-3835 and ISSN (Online):2685-0486. Initially, this journal aimed to publish the results of research in the Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sriwijaya, but in its development articles from various other institutions entered to be published.
Since 2014 the management began using the Open Journal System, but in 2016 has not been active because there was a rearrangement of the editorial board and reviewers. Until 2019 the MKS experienced changes including language, templates, and the reference writing uses the Mendeley application.
