Abstract

Abstract: Development Of Self-Assessment Instruments And Assessment Of Friends To Assess The Performance Of Smk Student Performance In Chemical Practicum. This study aims to develop self and peer assessment instruments that met the criteria of validity and reliability on lab work in identifying the effect of concentration on the rate of reaction for vocational high school students. The research was done in one of vocational schools majoring in technology and engineering in Bandung with the subjects are 24 elevent grade students who has learnt the topic about factors that affect the reaction rate. Development dan validation method was applied in this research. Development steps include subject needs and performance analysis  onthe effect of concentration on the reaction rate lab work, so that the initial draft resulted with 21 develop performance aspects. Validation steps include content validity and reliability. Based on content validity test using Content Validity Ratio (CVR) on critical value of 0.736, there were 20 performance having CVR value of 1.00 (valid). The reliability is three time tested with different group: observer’s testing that assessed two groups of students, observer’s testing that assessed three groups of students, and peer assessment. The Cronbach Alpha value obtained were respectively 0.9, 0.78, and 0.91, thus the instruments developed were reliable. It’s conclude that students performance measure by using self-assessment, there are 19 students or 79% students are good, and the performance measure by using peer-assessment there are 20 students or 83% students are good.
