Abstract


Abstract: Implementation Of Quantum Teaching Model To Increase Learning Result Of Chemical Students Class Xi Sma Negeri 14 Palembang. This research is a classroom action research  that aims to improve the chemistry learning process in order to enhance the students’ learning outcomes at the eleventh IPA 1 grade students of SMA Negeri 14 Palembang through the application of Quantum Teaching model. The research used Quantum Teaching model consisted of six phases which was abbreviated to TANDUR, namely: Grow, Natural, Name, Demonstrate, Repeat and Celebrate. The subject of this research was the eleventh IPA 1 grade students of SMA Negeri 14 Palembang which have 40 students. The research was conducted for 3 cycles. The average of the students’ learning outcomes before treatment (T0) was 51.82 with the percentage of learning completeness was 10%. The average of the students’ learning outcomes in the first cycle (T1) was 68.4 with the percentage of learning completeness was 47.37%. The average of the students’ learning outcomes in the second cycle (T2) was 78.9 with the percentage of learning completeness was 78.9%. The average of the students’ learning outcomes in the third cycle (T3) was 84.4 with the percentage of learning completeness was 86.84%. Based on the students’ activity observation, there was improvement of students’ activity, that is in the first cycle was 50.64%, the second cycle was 63.03% and 73.76% was for the third cycle. The results showed that Quantum Teaching model can improve the students’ learning outcomes. Key Words: Classroom Action Research, Quantum Teaching Model, Chemical Learning Outcomes
