    Author Guidelines

    1. The journal invites scholars and experts working in all disciplines in history education (history learning, history and cultural studies)
    2. Articles should be original, research-based, unpublished and not under review for possible publication in other journals.
    3. The manuscript is written using suitable formats based on the provision of scientific article writing system , using standard Bahasa Indonesia or English, consisting of its typing and its record as a soft file.
    4. The manuscript must be typed in single space, min 10-15 pages in length, A4 paper,  using margins 3 cm for each margin (top, left, right and bottom) . The writing uses Times New Roman font, size 12.
    5. The abstract of research paper should contain title, problem and purpose, method, and research finding, and recommendation
    6. JC will not publish more than one article of the same authorship or co-authorship within 12 months period. 
    7. Full research papers have broad relevance and contribute something new to Education. It includes:
      1. Tittle: Short and brief, max 12 words
      2. The writer’s identity: The writer’s name, correspondence  address, and email (min. 2 and max 6 writers in one article)
      3. Abstract: Times New Roman, 12. Written in Indonesia (no italic) and English (italic) 150-200 words, completed in keywords.
      4. Introduction: Explain the theoretical background, related research, the practical applications and the nature and purpose of the article.
      5. Literatur Review:
      6. Research Method: Method Section that describes the participants the materials the procedures employed in the study such as treatment(s) and data analysis.
      7. Result and Discussion: Results should be clear and concise. Discussion should explore the significance of the results of the work, not repeat them. A combined Results and Discussion section is often appropriate. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.
      8. Conclusision: The main conclusions of the study may be presented in a short conclusions section, which may stand alone or form a subsection of a discussion or results and discussion section.
      9. References: References are listed in alphabetical order. Each listed reference is cited in text, and Non-research papers include major theme, logical development of the theme, author's point of view, implications, inferences, or conclusions.

     

     

    Submission Preparation Checklist

    As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

    1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
    2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
    3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
    4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
    5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
    6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

    Criksetra: Jurnal Pendidikan Sejarah will publish the article (or have it published) in the journal if the article’s editorial process is successfully completed. Criksetra: Jurnal Pendidikan Sejarah's editors may modify the article to a style of punctuation, spelling, capitalization, referencing and usage that deems appropriate. The author acknowledges that the article may be published so that it will be publicly accessible and such access will be free of charge for the readers as mentioned in point 3.
