Abstract


Integrating learning local history into history teaching is a renewal of teaching history because it can bring history subject  near to student environment. One of the local history that can be used as teaching material in local history is Kampung Arab in Palembang. In its implementation, local history materials submitted with learning models such as Project I Want To Know. This learning model puts students as researchers. Furthermore, the results of the writing of history or historiography of research learning model and the model project I Want To Know can be published to social networks such as facebook, blogs, instagram, path or you tube. The shape of the final assessment of the learning process is the student worksheets made by teachers.
