KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA PERMULAAN SISWA KELAS 1 SD NEGERI 04 PALEMBANG MELALUI PERMAINAN KARTU BERGAMBAR
Abstract
Abstract: The aim of this reseach was to improve the skills of beginning reading of Grade 1 SD Negeri 04 Palembang through pictorial card game. The method used in this research was classroom action research with subjects numbered 36 students. The research instruments used were test of skills of the beginning reading and observation of student activities. Results showed that mastery learning in Cycle I reached 66.67% with an average value of 65.55. Furthermore, in Cycle II students' mastery learning reached 75% with an average value of 70.97. In the third cycle, mastery learning students has reached 86.11% with an average value of 75.83. This study considered successful because the reading skills of students have met the minimal mastery learning criteria that is ?65 and classical mastery learning was ?85%. Results of the begining reading skills was also supported by student learning activities, in the first cycle student activity reached an average of 68.58, and 75.17 at Cycle II, Cycle III reach 82.29. Based on the indicators obtained, it can be concluded that by applying pictorial card game can improve students begining reading skills at first Class I of SD Negeri 04 Palembang.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca permulaan Siswa Kelas 1 SD Negeri 04 Palembang melalui permainan kartu bergambar. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan subjek penelitian berjumlah siswa 36 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah tes membaca permulaan dan observasi aktivitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ketuntasan belajar pada Siklus I mencapai 66,67% dengan nilai rata-rata 65,55. Selanjutnya pada Siklus II ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 75% dengan nilai rata-rata 70,97. Pada siklus III, ketuntasan belajar siswa sudah mencapai 86,11% dengan nilai rata-rata 75,83. Penelitian ini dianggap berhasil karena keterampilan membaca siswa telah memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal yaitu ?65 dan ketuntasan klasikal yaitu ?85%. Hasil keterampilan membaca permulaan ini juga didukung oleh hasil aktivitas belajar siswa. Pada Siklus I keaktifan siswa mencapai rata-rata 68,58, Siklus II 75,17, dan Siklus III 82,29. Berdasarkan indikator keberhasilan yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui permaian kartu bergambar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa Kelas I SD Negeri 04 Palembang dalam membaca permulaan.
