POLA PENGEMBANGAN KECERDASAN INTERPERSONAL DAN INTRAPERSONAL DI MI AL-ISLAM KARTASURA SUKOHARJO

Abstract: The purpose of the research was to observe students’ intrapersonal and inter­personal intelligence development pattern in MI Al Islam Kartasura Sukoharjo full day school which focussed on the implementation process and factors affecting it. The research was a naturalistic qualitative research which used three methods in collecting data: observation, documentation, and interview. Data analysis was carried out using reduction, display and data verification. The findings showed that the implementation of intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence develop­ment in MI Al Islam Kartasura Sukoharjo was done through: (1) recruitment process and students’ selection, (2) curriculum application in teaching-learning process, (3) active study method, (4) teachers’ active role, and (5) extracurricular activities. Recruitment Process and Students’ Selection involved counseling teacher who actively interviewed students to explore their potential, especially their personal competence that includes intrapersonal and interper­sonal competence. The purpose of the interview was to know the initial information about the prospective students. The strength that MI Al Islam Kartasura has in developing intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence does not rely on specifically designed activities, but on the use of various available activities with regard to the potential it has and involves all stakeholders. Intrapersonal and interper­sonal intelligence were developed through some subjects such as Indonesian Language, Arts and Culture, and Natural Science. In active teaching-learning process, teacher played a role as a facilitator. Teacher often gave students questions and students asked critical questions. Therefore, students seemed enjoying the learning process. In MI Al Islam Kartasura teachers play a strategic role to obtain the teaching-learning purpose that has been set.

 

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pola pengembangan kecer­dasan intrapersonal dan kecerdasan interpersonal siswa program full day school di MI Al Islam Kartasura Sukoharjo yang terfokus pada proses pelaksanaan beserta faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuali­tatif naturalistik yang menggunakan tiga metode pengumpulan data yaitu: obese­rvasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara. Analisis data melalui reduksi, display, dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pola pelaksanaan pengem­bangan kecerdasan interpersonal dan intrapersonal di MI Al Islam Kartasura melalui:  (1) proses rekrutmen dan seleksi siswa madrasah, (2) aplikasi kurikulum dalam proses pembelajaran, (3) metode  belajar aktif, (4) peran aktif guru, dan (5) kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Rekrutmen dan seleksi siswa melibatkan guru  bimbingan konseling yang secara aktif melalui wawancara  mengeks­plorasi kemampuan siswa, terutama komponen kompetensi personal yang meliputi intrapersonal dan interper­sonal. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui  informasi awal terkait kondisi siswa yang akan dididik.  Kekuatan yang dimiliki oleh MI Al Islam Kartasura dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan intrapersonal dan interpersonal tidak bertumpu pada sebuah  kegiatan yang dirancang khusus, namun lebih kepada peman­faatan berbagai kegiatan yang telah ada dengan memperhatikan potensi yang dimiliki dan melibat­kan semua stakehoders. Kecerdasan intrapersonal dan interpersonal dikembangkan melalui beberapa mata pelajaran, antara lain: Bahasa Indonesia, Seni Budaya, dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam.  Dalam proses belajar aktif, guru lebih berperan sebagai fasilitator. Guru melontarkan pertanyaan-pertanyaan kepada siswa, selain itu siswa melontarkan pertanyaan-pertanyaan kritis, sehingga para siswa tampak menikmati proses pembelajaran. Pengembangan kecerdasan intrapersonal yang dilakukan di madrasah, guru memiliki peran yang strategis untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang diinginkan.
