The Effect of Gender, Study Duration and Sleep on Students' Mathematics Learning Outcomes: Logistic Regression

    Aswin Aswin, Dadan Dasari

    Abstract

Factors that affect students' math learning outcomes come from various sources both internal and external. This study will look at several factors that contribute to the completeness of student math learning outcomes, namely gender, study duration and student sleep. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of gender, study duration and student sleep on the completeness of student math learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative with a descriptive approach that describes the effect of each variable. The population in this study were high school students in Riau, Bandung and South Sulawesi. The number of samples in this study were 148 students. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire to find out gender, study duration and sleep duration of students and students' math scores. The results of this study are (1) gender has a significant effect on the completeness of student math learning outcomes, (2) study duration has a significant effect on the completeness of student math learning outcomes, and (3) sleep duration has a significant effect on the completeness of student math learning outcomes. This study is expected to be a recommendation for teachers, parents and students to pay attention to variables that contribute to the completeness of math learning outcomes
