Masjid Azizi: Bukti Kejayaan Islam Etnis Melayu Langkat

Abstract


The remains of Malay culture and anidentity langkat Islamic pride that still needs to be preserve dislocated azizi Mosque in the Sultanate of Tanjung Pura langkat. Sultanate langkat build Azizi mosquein 1899 during the reign of Sultan langkat named Haj iMusa. Inauguration in June 13, 1902 by the son of Haji Musa named Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Djalil Rachmat. The mosque is very similar to the Masjid Zahirin Kedah. Malaysia because it was inspired by the beauty of Azizi Mosque. Azizi Mosqueis located in the town of Tanjung Pura, the capital of the Sultanate of langkat. The layout of the mosque on the edge of Sumatra highway, which connects the province of North Sumatra and Aceh. The distance is approximately 60km from the capital of North Sumatra province, namely Medan.
