PENGETAHUAN DAN SIKAP SISWA TERHADAP PAHLAWAN NASIONAL SULTAN MAHMUD BADARUDDIN II PADA MATA PELAJARAN IPS KELAS IV SD NEGERI SE-KECAMATAN INDRALAYA KABUPATEN OGAN ILIR

Abstract


This research has been conducted in primary schools throughout the District Indralaya namely in SD Negeri 6, SD Negeri 8 and SD Negeri 13 Indralaya. The pur-pose of this study to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards national hero Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II in social studies in elementary school fourth grade Se-District of Indralaya. The sample in this study were students Indralaya where each elementary taken 20 students to be sampled so that the total number of samples in this study were 60 students. Data collection techniques used in the tests and angket.Tes used to refer to that level tahui student's knowledge of self and personality national hero Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin. While the questionnaire used to determine students' attitudes like everywhere after he learned about yourself and private national hero Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II. The data analysis shows that if r xy> r table with a level of 95%, then ha received. In the calculation of didapatlah r xy = 0.62 and therefore 0.62> 0.254 it ha been received, it shows the relationship between students' knowledge and attitude towards this indicated a national hero Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II and fall into the category of being. After knowing the conclus-ions of this study, it is expected that teachers and other interested parties in under-standing the longer SK and KD is listed on SBC se-up study will lead to a contextual approach in accordance with the environmental characteristics of students.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di SD Negeri se-Kecamatan Indralaya yakni pada SD Negeri 6, SD Negeri 8 dan SD Negeri 13 Indralaya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui besarnya hubungan antara pengetahuan dan sikap siswa terhadap pahlawan nasional Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IV di SD Negeri Se-Kecamatan Indralaya. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Indralaya dimana masing-masing SD tersebut diambil 20 siswa untuk dijadikan sampel sehingga jumlah total keseluruhan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 60 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam tes dan angket.Tes digunakan untuk menge-tahui tingkat pengetahuan siswa mengenai diri dan kepribadian pahlawan nasional Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin. Sedangkan angket digunakan untuk mengetahui bagai-mana sikap siswa setelah ia mengetahui tentang diri dan pribadi pahlawan nasional Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II. Analisis data didapatkan bahwa jika rxy > r tabel dengan taraf kepercayaan 95% maka ha diterima. Dalam perhitungan didapatlah rxy = 0,62 dan oleh karena 0,62 > 0,254 maka ha diterima, hal itu menunjukan adanya hubungan antara pengetahuan yang dimiliki siswa dan sikap yang ditunjukannya terhadap pahlawan nasional Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II dan termasuk ke dalam kategori sedang. Setelah mengetahui kesimpulan dari penelitian ini maka diharapkan kepada guru dan pihak terkait dalam memahami lagi SK dan KD yang tertera pada KTSP se-hingga pembelajaran akan mengarah ke pendekatan kontekstual sesuai dengan karakteristik lingkungan siswa.
