PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN SISWA KELAS II SEKOLAH DASAR PADA OPERASI HITUNG PEMBAGIAN MELALUI PERMAINAN MATEMATIKA

Abstract


Abstract: This study was aim at improving students' skills in arithmetic operations division of the material through math games. The subjects were students of class II A SD Negeri 63 Palembang which totaled 31 students, 13 of whom are girls and 18 are boys. This research is conducted classroom action research as much as two cycles, each cycle consisting of three meetings. The study consisted of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through student math skills observation sheet at the end of each cycle when the evaluation is focused on the speed and accuracy of answer about the division. Based on the results of the analysis of observational data, the increase in student math skills can be seen from the time it takes students to answer the questions correctly, the initial conditions of the students or the number of students who achieve more than enough skilled category by 4 students (12.9 % ), in the first cycle there are 21 students (67.7 % ), and the second cycle increased to 28 students (90.3 %). Based on these data it can be concluded that learning through math games can improve students' skills in arithmetic operations division of the material in class II A SD Negeri 63 Palembang.

 

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan siswa pada materi operasi hitung pembagian melalui permainan matematika. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IIA SD Negeri 63 Palembang yang berjumlah 31 orang, 13 orang di antaranya siswa perempuan dan 18 orang adalah siswa laki-laki. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan sebanyak dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari tiga kali pertemuan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data keterampilan matematika siswa dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi pada saat evaluasi setiap akhir siklus yang difokuskan pada kecepatan dan ketepatan menjawab soal pembagian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data observasi, peningkatan keterampilan matematika siswa dapat dilihat dari waktu yang diperlukan siswa menjawab soal dengan tepat, pada kondisi awal siswa jumlah siswa yang mencapai atau lebih dari kategori cukup terampil sebanyak 4 orang siswa (12,9%), pada siklus I terdapat 21 orang siswa (67,7%), dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 28 orang siswa (90,3%).  Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran melalui permainan matematika dapat meningkatkan keterampilan siswa pada materi operasi hitung pembagian di kelas IIA SD Negeri 63 Palembang.
