The Journal of English Literacy Education: The Teaching and Learning of English as a Foreign Language

The Journal of English Literacy Education or JELE is a peer-reviewed open access academic journal published twice a year (May and November) by the English Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University, South Sumatera, Indonesia. JELE presents research and development in the field of teaching and learning English as a Foreign Language (EFL). Authors must REGISTER to JELE before submitting their work and follow the AUTHOR GUIDELINES. The manuscripts that do not adhere to the guidelines provided by JELE will be returned for correction and revision. The manuscripts are submitted through online submission, and the submission does not charge authors any fee for submitting, processing and publishing articles. Inquiries can be addressed to the Chief Editor at jele@fkip.unsri.ac.id.

We would like to announce that JELE has been using a new cover design since Volume 8 Number 1, 2021. We changed the black colour and the design of the old cover with a new layout design with blue colour dominating it.
