Mathematics Education Journal previously Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika (p-ISSN: 1978-0044; e-ISSN: 2549-1040) is a scientific, peer-reviewed and open-access journal which has been established for the dissemination of state-of-the-art knowledge in the field of mathematics education. This journal managed and published by Department of Master Program on Mathematics Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sriwijaya, Palembang, Indonesia in collaboration with Indonesian Mathematical Society. Starting from 2022, JPM would be published three times a year

The journal consists of high-quality technical manuscripts on advances in the state-of-the-art of mathematics education; both theoretical approaches and practical approaches are encouraged to submit. Submitted papers must be written in English for the review stage by editors and further review process by at least two anonymous reputable reviewers.

The journal provides a forum for the sharing, dissemination, and discussion of research, experience, and perspectives across a wide range of education, teaching, development, instruction, educational projects and innovations, learning methodologies, and new technologies in mathematics education for authors and readers worldwide. The focus and scope of Mathematics Education Journal include the following topics Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) or Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia, Design/Development Research in Mathematics Education, Mathematics Ability, and PISA Task.

This journal has been INDEXED by DOAJ since July 2017. Furthermore, the JPM has been ACCREDITED by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, the Republic of Indonesia as an achievement for the peer-reviewed journal which has excellent quality in management and publication and effective until 2026.

New Website of Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika

Starting from Volume 18 Number 1 in  2024, the Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika website moved to a new one at https://jpm.ejournal.unsri.ac.id/index.php/jpm/. Therefore, Authors who submit new manuscripts should register on the new website.

Furthermore, for the authors who submit the article before January 30, 2024, all article processes are still on the previous website at https://ejournal.unsri.ac.id/index.php/jpm. However, the paper will be published on the new website if accepted. All archives of JPM's articles from 2007 to 2023 can be accessed on the previous website

Jurnal Pendidikan Matematika Volume 17 Issue 3 (September 2023) has been available online since August 31, 2023, for the regular issue of September 2023. All articles in this issue (8 research articles) cover 24 authors from 2 countries of origin (Indonesia and Ghana).
